Baby Massage 9.30am, Weekly @ Winchburgh

Service Description

This class is aimed at babies from 4/6 weeks to around 6 months or before they are crawling. Baby massage is an empowering technique to help soothe and relax both you and your baby. This class shows you how to become confident in massaging your baby. Set in the beautiful Carrongrange House in Larbert, now known as The Suite, the room is bright and has a relaxed and welcoming feel. Parking is available during the class, prams or pushchairs can be brought along but if you are local, please consider walking along with baby in a sling or carrier. Each class will cover separate body areas culminating in a full body routine. You will learn techniques and sequences to help your baby overcome colic, constipation, reflux to name just a few benefits and your massage will stimulate reflexes and help to strengthen baby's muscles. You will build confidence and enjoy this thoroughly amazing bonding time with your baby. Baby massage has been shown to help reduce postnatal depression and improve your connection with your baby. You will become more attuned to his cues and reactions which all help with his development. Organic Sunflower seed or Coconut oil and learning handouts are included so that you can continue this beautiful experience at home between classes. Enjoy meeting new parents in a safe and nurturing environment where you will be supported to practice this beautiful new skill. Please bring a towel for baby and a cushion for your own comfort. Please also bring a travel cup with lid to enjoy a tea or coffee.
